By accessing our website or participating in our programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access our website or use our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You must be at least 18 years of age to register for our programs. By registering, you represent that you are of legal age and have the capacity to enter into this agreement.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

• "Service" refers to our financial education programs, website, and related educational materials
• "User," "You," or "Participant" refers to individuals who access our website or register for programs
• "Content" refers to all materials, information, and resources provided through our services
• "Program" refers to any of our financial education offerings including Couple's Pre-Marriage Planning, Grant Navigation, or Financial Systems Architecture
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy

3. Service Description

Datum Edge provides financial education programs designed to help participants develop practical financial knowledge and skills relevant to the Malaysian context. Our services include:

• Structured educational sessions led by experienced facilitators
• Program-specific worksheets, templates, and reference materials
• Small group learning environments with limited participant numbers
• Access to program materials during and after completion

We reserve the right to modify program content, schedules, and delivery methods as necessary. Participants will be notified of material changes in advance.

4. Registration and Enrollment

4.1 Program Registration

To participate in our programs, you must complete the registration process and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.

4.2 Acceptance of Registration

We reserve the right to accept or decline registration applications at our discretion. Registration is confirmed upon receipt of payment and our email confirmation. Programs have limited capacity, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.

4.3 Program Prerequisites

Some programs may have specific prerequisites or recommended prior knowledge. It is your responsibility to ensure you meet these requirements before enrolling. We are not obligated to provide refunds if you fail to meet prerequisites.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Program Fees

Program fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include all sessions, materials, and resources specified in the program description. Fees do not include personal expenses such as transportation to our location.

5.2 Payment Methods

We accept payment via bank transfer to the account details provided upon registration. Full payment is required prior to the first program session unless alternative arrangements have been made in writing.

5.3 Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

• Cancellation more than 14 days before program start: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
• Cancellation 7-14 days before program start: 50% refund
• Cancellation less than 7 days before program start: No refund
• No-show or withdrawal after program begins: No refund

Refunds are processed within 14 business days of approved cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances, in which case full refunds will be provided.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1 Acceptable Conduct

As a participant, you agree to:

• Attend scheduled sessions punctually and participate actively
• Treat facilitators and other participants with respect
• Maintain confidentiality of information shared by other participants
• Complete exercises and assignments to maximize learning benefits
• Provide feedback honestly and constructively
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6.2 Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Record, reproduce, or distribute program content without written permission
• Disrupt sessions or interfere with other participants' learning
• Use our services for any unlawful purpose
• Share access to program materials with non-participants
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data

7. Intellectual Property Rights

7.1 Ownership

All content, materials, trademarks, and intellectual property provided through our services are owned by Datum Edge or our licensors. This includes program curricula, worksheets, templates, presentations, and website content.

7.2 Limited License

Upon enrollment, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use program materials for personal educational purposes only. This license does not permit:

• Commercial use or resale of materials
• Modification or creation of derivative works
• Distribution or public display of materials
• Removal of copyright or proprietary notices

7.3 Feedback and Submissions

Any feedback, suggestions, or materials you provide to us may be used by Datum Edge without compensation or attribution, though we respect the confidentiality of personal financial information shared during programs.

8. Educational Disclaimer

Our programs provide general financial education and should not be considered personalized financial advice. We do not:

• Provide specific investment recommendations or financial planning services
• Sell financial products or receive commissions from third parties
• Offer legal, tax, or accounting advice
• Guarantee specific financial outcomes or results

Participants should consult with qualified professionals for advice specific to their individual circumstances. We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on program content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:

• Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied
• We do not warrant that our services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements
• Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific program
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
• We are not liable for any financial losses incurred as a result of decisions made based on program content

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Datum Edge, its officers, employees, and facilitators from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your use of our services, or your violation of any rights of third parties.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to our services immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to access program materials ceases
• You remain liable for any outstanding fees
• Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails within 30 days, either party may pursue formal legal remedies.

13. General Provisions

13.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Datum Edge regarding your use of our services.

13.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.

13.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights hereunder without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.

13.5 Notices

We may provide notices to you via email at the address you provided during registration or by posting on our website. Notices are deemed effective 24 hours after transmission or posting.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or website notice. Changes become effective 30 days after notification. Your continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to modified Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.
